Pelican Timing Services offers professional timing using the latest technology for timing and scoring services for running, triathlons, duathlons, swimming and biking events throughout the South.
We utilize RFID ULTRA DISPOSABLE TIMING SYSTEMS for cycling, running, and multi sports race events.

Registration Fees (Early & Late Fees & dates):
5K & 1 Mile fees are $35 early registration until Jan. 9th and $40 race day
With your registration fee you will receive a t-shirt (if registered by Jan. 5th) and a free admission wrist band for admission into the La Fur and Wildlife Festival grounds. This year the LA Fur and Wildlife Festival is honoring the Cameron Parish Oyster Industry.
Online Registration Closes on Jan. 9th at midnight.
Race day registration available starting at 7:00 am but will not include a T-shirt. Race Starts at 8 am
T-shirts are guaranteed only to registrations done by Jan. 5th at midnight. There will be no t-shirt given with registrations after January 5th
There will be no event t-shirts sold at the race
Awards for 5K:
Overall Male will receive an Alligator Wallet and Overall Female will receive an Alligator Purse.
1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners in each age group below.
All participants will receive an alligator tooth necklace.

This is the final race of the Triple Crown Challenge. It is the perfect distance for the build-up on your spring half and marathon training plans or to build your confidence in long-distance running. The event is held at Picard Park in Milton, Louisiana.
A race tradition is a specialty item, such as a hoodie/jacket for the participant race shirt. Stay tuned for previews of this year’s coveted swag!
Register early as quantities are LIMITED.
Race day registration is available, but no participant swag sizing guarantee.
Cash awards will be given to the TOP THREE OVERALL male and female winners.
Awards will be given to the top THREE finishers in each age group: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
We will add additional masters age groups in 10-year increments as needed.
Packet Pickup/Race Day: $70
*Online Race Registration will close on January 23, 2025, at 6 pm for timing purposes. We will have in-person registration at packet pickup and race morning
RACE DAY PARKING
Limited parking is available at Picard Park - 130 Park Lane. For runner safety, you cannot exit the parking lot until the road has reopened.

Begins and ends at our Early Childhood Campus, 120 S. New Hampshire St. in downtown Covington
Join us for the Annual King Cake 5K and one-mile fun run presented by Christ Episcopal School. This year’s event will also include a second line parade for current CES ECC students who register (sorry, this portion of the event is not open to the public).
We’ll have awards, music, food (including king cake, of course!), drinks, and a good time for all. Lace up those running shoes, wear your Mardi Gras finest (prizes for the most festive outfits!), and laissez les bons temps rouler!
Timeline
6 a.m. Setup begins
7 a.m. Race-day registration and packet pickup
8 a.m. 1-Mile Race
8:30 a.m. 5K Race (Runners in front: Walkers line up in back)
9:15 a.m. ECC Second Line - This will not be timed, but there is a registration fee; (not open to the public).
9:45 a.m. Costume Contest (Adult & Student Categories)
After Party ends at 11 a.m.
Pricing
• 1-Mile and 5K: $25 pre-registration (includes food and drink); $30 race-day registration
• ECC Second Line: $10 pre-registration (includes food and drink); $15 race-day registration
• Food and Beverage Wristband Only: (For those not participating in a race or second line) $5 each
• Long-sleeve t-shirt: $17 ea. not included with registration. (t-shirts only guaranteed with pre-registration by Thursday, Jan. 9th)

Friday, Jan. 24th, from Noon - 3 p.m. in The Reily at the CBC. Packets will also be available on race day.
